Herald Scotland article

The issues facing Fetlar Wind and other community projects after the recent decision to remove eligibility from the SEIS and EIS scheme for community projects was featured in a recent article in the Herald

"Anger as investment rule changes by ministers threatens to take the wind out of energy projects" This was the headline which appeared in the Herald on Friday 30th October. Fetlar Wind along with many other community projects has been threatened by this decision which came totally out of the blue and with no prior warning. In fact it came only a few days after the DECC consultation on the future of the Feed in tarrif closed. It is yet another challenege to add to the earlier decision to potentiall scrap or very significantly reduce the FiT from 1st January 2016.

Fetlar Wind are working hard to make sure we can get investment in and the project completed ahead of these deadlines.
